if you get the chance, take it. if it changes your life, let it.

to accomplish.

a wise roommate once told me that when you're stressed out it helps to tell someone (or write down) everything you have to do, which will hopefully make you realize that in fact there is actually not that much. here's hoping that trick works.
  • write an 8 page paper on the greek goddess nike.
  • write another 8 page paper on art history (which i don't even know the topic of because he won't give it to us until wednesday so we have exactly a week to complete it).
  • take a stats test.
  • make 50+ flashcards for an art history test.
  • memorize 50+ flashcards for an art history test.
  • take an art history test.
  • do a take home folklore test. (take home makes it sound easy... i can assure you... IT'S NOT).
i haven't even started on wedding stuff.
  • pick a date. (who knew this would be so complicated... people going on trips, temples closed for cleaning and a huge family has made it so extremely complicated)
  • reserve a dinner place
  • invitations
  • pictures
  • wedding dress & suit
  • decorations
  • bishop's interviews
  • doctor's appointments
not even counting marriage stuff:
  • a place to live
  • a full time job
  • rent
  • utilities
  • furniture
  • groceries
  • and more i don't even know about yet.
so that little trick didn't help. at all. but at least i have a to do list now.

but don't get me wrong. besides feeling overwhelmed, i have never been this incredibly happy. soon enough i will be with my best friend forever. how sweet is that? and i realize that nothing else really matters, nothing has to be perfect and grades don't matter in eternity. :)
