if you get the chance, take it. if it changes your life, let it.

fell in love at age 8.

unfortunately, this isn't the best quality. our first date ever... skyline's homecoming dance. i was 16, he was 17. and i was extremely awkward. his friends called me "the mime."

the famous "ride out." the summer of my sophomore year. i was 17, he was 18. and i had the BIGGEST crush.

unfortunately, i don't have the picture of us in lake powell with our families when we were 8. that was our first ever flirt session. i remember being so embarrassed when my aunt told my mom that i had a major crush. there is a picture of us sitting on the edge of the house boat kicking water. according to B, we were seeing who could kick water the farthest. what dorks right?

every time i saw him at the ranch i tried my hardest to impress him. but that didn't work when i fell off a four wheeler into mud, stood on a fire ant hill while flirting with him (and his step-mom had to pat me down to get them off) and had a huge pine cone in my hair during all of it. how embarrassing.

and this is just one of my favorite pictures ever.
