competition.

Let me explain a little bit...

My aunt's house (which I stayed at for a week while they were in Hawaii) has a pool table and a ping-pong table. We played countless games of pool. And once we got sick of pool we played countless games of ping-pong.
While I was watching Say Yes to the Dress (one of my favorites) B was making a trophy for our huge ping-pong tournament, which was bound to be on sports center, until he beat me 3 games to none. Yes, he won his own trophy.

On Saturday I had some lacrosse scrimmages at the U of U field house. We beat Utah 7-0 and Westminster 8-2. I get more nervous for these games than any other game we play. Both of these teams are good and sometimes my team underestimates them. Also, both these teams are made up of people that I played with in high school. Adds some pressure to it. But we played really well and won both games. Our first tournament is in California in two weeks!

Then of course, Sunday was the Superbowl. B's family threw a huge party with way too much food and lots of people. Neither of us are huge Packer's fans but we're definitely not Steeler's fans (B loves the Bengals and I love the Colts). We cheered them on and luckily the Packer's won. (I was worried B would be let down by yet another green and yellow team since his Ducks lost the National Championship).

Sometimes I think that B and I are a little too competitive. Everything we do turns into a contest... lacrosse, uno, ping-ping, pool, basketball, spider solitaire, fruit ninja, who can guess how much gas will cost, and some even more ridiculous ones that I'm too embarrassed to write about.

Anyways, that was our weekend. Lots of competition and not enough homework time. Wouldn't have it any other way.
