if you get the chance, take it. if it changes your life, let it.

love for days.

this weekend was one of the
best we've had in a long time.

it started right with Skate Your Heart out for Lacrosse! an annual event in which all proceeds go to sending the team to nationals. always a party, this year was no different. and we even made more than $500! that will buy one and a half plane tickets to missouri! yay! only 24.5 more to go! just kidding, we are really grateful for the extra money. thanks to all those who came! (this is a picture from last year... i didn't take any this year, and without a facebook i can't steal them...but there were some sweet outfits.)
the next activity on the schedule is...
i hadn't played tennis since probably seventh grade when i took lessons with two Russian twins. but my Dad loves tennis so i think it runs in my blood a little bit. we played at skyline's tennis courts, and it was warm and sunny. beautiful! we played best out of fifteen games... i won 6 games, and B won 8. one day i will beat him. he just has this backhand... it was so much fun to get outside in the sun for some friendly competition. i think tennis will be added into the routine of things we do. can't wait!

next calendar item...
after tennis i was beat. B had me running all over the court and early morning practice and a late night at skate your heart out = a tired M. so i fell asleep and while i was asleep, B did something real sneaky. THIS:
i walked upstairs to all of my favorites... a cafe rio chicken salad, with a cup of their amazing ice (with just a tiny bit of water), roses (with the price tag... whoops) and a bag of tootsie rolls and reeses. i obviously took this picture after we ate... notice the salad haha. it was the best. what a sweetheart.

as if this weekend couldn't get better! THEN johnny and heather came over and played uno with us! we played four games and lets just say johnny and i are tough to beat. heather and B were in the bottom two every time... luckily B beat her in the final game.THEN we went over to one of B's best friend's house, Greg  the Egg's, we met his friend Bailey and we played the longest game of couples ping-pong ever. i think it ended in a tie. after that we watched Hot Rod. hate to say it, Hot Rod is definitely not my favorite and might even be in my least favorite category. hate me if you want. but i didn't care, i was asleep before he dove into the pool.

Sunday came around and after church i got to hang out with this cute guy...
spence laing nash is almost 6 months! i'm so glad i live at home so i can see him more often.

the last activity for the weekend: B's mom, teresa, planned a big valentine's dinner with all his siblings (missed rob and jess). the food was excellent, like always. and the decorations were so cute. teresa is always such a good party planner with gifts for every guest, candy everywhere and tons of great family time.

(yesterday was also our ten month anniversary. yahoo!)

that was our weekend! and today is actual valentine's day... who knows what we'll do. probably play tennis. sorry for such a long, probably boring post.

happy love day!

p.s. i'm deeply sorry for my last depressing, emo, hate post. it was a bad week, but i'm sure you didn't wanna hear it. from now on, i'll keep my angry hate posts to myself. promise.

p.s.s. today i am officially 21.5!
